The Story Behind "Trout Town" Flies in Roscoe, NY

It all started with a Corporate Achievement Award

Roscoe, NY in the Catskills calls itself Trout Town USA because it sits at the convergence of five wonderful trout rivers. If you go there, you might stop at Trout Town Flies where you’ll find Joe Rist, the owner, and his long time friend and employee Jim Corless.

How Joe came to buy the store just as Covid began is quite a story that starts at Haldane High School in Cold Spring, NY.
